What is the Great Plague (Black Death)

I'm sure you are wondering what Black Death is. Well, you've come to the right place. Here on this wiki, you will learn everything you need to know about the Black Death. First off, you should learn where it started and how it ended up in Europe.

The Black Death started spreading when the Mongols began using biological warfare around the fourteenth century. They did this by launching infected bodies at the Genoese in catapults. Then around 1347, the Italians took Black Death with them to Europe in the form of infected fleas. Soon these fleas spread to rats and infected them and this is how the horrible Black Death began in Europe.

When Black Death ended, it killed 60-70% of Europe's population shaving the world's population down from an estimated 450 million to between 350 and 375 million. It became known as one of the most devastating pandemics in recorded history. It took nearly 150 years for Europe's population to recover. The plague did return several times later, killing more people, until it left Europe in the 19th Century.
